Roar Vanilla began Summer 2008 in Fremantle, Western Australia as a collaboration between passionate and inspired individuals interested in ‘leading edge’ nutrition and how to assist others on their journey towards radiant health in simple, fun and delicious ways. This journey for the Roar Vanilla Team lead us into the Superfoods arena very quickly! These foods are definitely gaining popularity at an ever increasing rate currently, but there has been a definition for Superfoods in the Oxford dictionary since 1915 - those “foods considered especially nutritious or otherwise beneficial to health and well-being" and they have also been considered medicine for thousands of years in places such as South America, India and China. We now add to that definition that Superfoods are considered the be the most nutrient dense foods identifiable on the planet, and we would also add that they are the most delicious too! When we discovered Cacao & Raw Chocolate and how easy to make, delicious and nutritious it was....that was where our Superfoods love affair began. Now, a year and a half on...all the Roar Vanilla Crew are experiencing vibrant health, clearer skin and eyes, incredible levels of energy and clarity and more passion for life than we could ever have imagined! We have taught over a thousand eager students both home and away the fun and health benefits of including some of these wonderful foods into their worlds...and now...the fun for us has kicked up notch and we have just launched this range of the best quality Superfoods in the world! When we were spending time last year in Hawaii at raw food nutritionist David Wolfe’s property, we had the good fortune of being introduced to the guys from Ultimate Superfoods in California (their website is www.ultimatesuperfoods.com). This wonderful company’s ethic is to always be on the front line of sourcing Superfoods from farms that are not only the best taste and quality, but also the most honest, clean (organic), sustainable and community focused. These guys were not yet shipping to Australia - and we really wanted them to!! Over a period of months, Roar Vanilla and Ultimate Superfoods came together and have formed a partnership whereby we are now distributing their products exclusively in Australia with the Roar Vanilla Label.
